    La is a word...sixth note of a major scale.

    I would agree with that if the sixth note in the 'do re mi fa so la bi do" scale was what the song were trying to convey. It obviously is not. nor is it the initials of Los Angeles ;-)) It is just a sound. sung to several different notes. Not a word.

    I really like that group. And the song (I like how no moral/lesson/reason is given to the listener- - three scenarios are shared, each followed by  'mmm mmm mmm'  - and that's all. Excellent.). And the music video is great for me. Perfectly cast, too, in my opinion.
