I shall list those relatives of mine who have died from tobacco use: Grandfather: throat cancer. Aunt: lung cancer. Sister: complications of various cancers and heart disease. Sister-in-law: oops! she is still fighting throat cancer (for years now) Father-in-law: lung cancer. Brother-in-law: lung cancer. Brother-in-law: throat cancer. (note: my mother quit smoking at age 30 and is still alive at age 87)
My family was fine until my only oldest sister did at 47 from smoking like a chimney, no hair chemo and along with my mom at 67, three painful years of oxygen machine and immobility and than my father at 79 who quit 7 years before but was still diagnose with lung cancer after losing his leg to bad circulation. Don't ever try to tell me cigarettes aren't sick killers which make you cough sick.

I reached for one in a non existent astray the other day. Then remembered I haven't smoked for about 5 years. Very weird. This whole week has been filled with drama.
