Have you ever met for the first time a pleasant person only to discover that you are fellow muggers always indulging in vitriolic exchages?




How did that meeting affect your subsequent online relationship?

    Not a mugger.....I have actually met and I'm very very good friends with someone on the old Answerbag.....I've known her maybe ten years now .....    In 2009 I think it was..... :)

      I have never knowingly met anyone with whom I interact on AnswerMug (or the legacy AnswerBag), but for many years now, it's been the concept of a recurring "what if" curiosity of mine. I even posted questions about it, such as, "If you're in a public setting and happen to glance in my direction and notice that I'm logged onto AM, would you say to yourself, 'So that's Randy D!'?"
