Anyone who knows this title will likely giggle. It's a mini-series based on a Stephen King book on Hulu right now. It only fits your description because the leading lady is in the 1960s and the man travels from present-day back to her.

Oooh... Somewhere in Time is the same way. That's an older one, but soooooo beautiful. 

How Stella Got Her Groove Back.

The graduate was lust, not romance! And, no, I can't name one. Chick flicks aren't my thing. 

I vaguely remember a flick about a young tennis coach at a resort who moonlighted giving private lessons which were not always about tennis. But I can't remember the name of the flick or any of the actors.

But in that film their relationship was sex, not romance.  He eventually romanced her daughter.
