    Yes. Both plant and animal.

    It's really hard for me to be mad at some of them because they're visually appealing. Also, it's not their fault that stupid humans introduced them to the environment in the first place.

    Best to try to contain them, though. I imagine that Native American Indians wish they could have contained the original invasive species to this continent!

    Ah, yes...Purple Loosestrife. It is now completely covering some of river islands and is totally worthless, taking over numerous species.

    Yes -

    Plants - Scotch Broom: Highly flammable, hard to kill and thrives in all conditions.

    Animals - Flatlanders"  Explode with anger (especially when driving), whine about everything, can't thrive anywhere.  {"it's too dry", "it's too wet", "there're too many trees in the forest", "We need more shopping malls", "my neighbors chickens wont shutup" ...  wah, wah, wah!. }

  • Fennel is a Mediterranean native that has become invasive in the Bay Area. Eucalyptus trees are Australian natives that grow throughout coastal California. Not only are they invasive, they're also highly flammable.

    And we are overrun with squirrels. They are actually native, but we've killed their natural predators, which means they multiply at an alarming rate.

    Sounds like you need a few hawks for the squirrels. We have a neighborhood one that keeps them in check.

    I have Multifloral Roses. They are nasty to contact but the birds love to nest in them. I have Emerald Ash Borers and Japanese beetles.

    They have invaded the world. But without them what would clean parking lots of discarded McPukie's French fries.
