Are you a product of cross breeding between two ethnicities?

My father is South Indian, while my mother is from Gujarat in the West - two different ethnicities.

  • I wouldn't call it "cross-breeding", but yes, I am a "hapa": My mom is Japanese and my dad is white.

No, but my children are. My wife and I are almost as ethnically diverse as a couple can be. I'm black and she's Asian.

That sounds like the same country, India?   How is that two different ethnicities?

Maybe it's me, but I thought it was more like black and white or red and yellow or black and yellow or something.
