Cute.  Besides me, there is one person that has enough of a brain to get herself gone out of Northlake.   She is very bright and has a college education but there are no ologists at all in my family, save me.  I am a Cosmetologist.   Yep.  I am an ologist.

But the rest of the in-breds in my lineage?   (besides my daughter and her dad)

Kind of like Duck Dynasty in a way.

I dabble. Since the breadcrumb content of sausages got ridiculous, I compare them with microscopic tektites. The tektite is a little meatier.

I have studied the weather for years and only took one college class, but I can read a script and point my fingers and make sweeping hand gestures. IOW...I could fake it. The REAL meteorologists...the ones behind the scenes, I couldn't fake.

Excellent!  I am a weather nut and wanted to be a meteorologist in the worst way.

Does almost being struck by a fragment of stony meteorite whilst plowing a ten-acre field count?

Nobody in my family knows which way the wind blows.

No, but I sure wanted to be one.  Life took me in another direction, but it was the career I always wanted.  Weather always fascinates me.

I saw a colorful meteor over Detroit the other night as I was driving through. It was close, green colored and came apart before hitting the ground.
