Was the news of your first sexual experience met by your parents with joy or disapproval?

When I broke my news to my parents at 42, tney said they wished they had received it at least 10 years earlier.

I mean it is in the same category with Can I get pregnant if I had sex during my period?

I did not inform my parents of my first sexual experience, but I'm positive it would have been met with disapproval from both. (And likely a threat to kill the SOB from my father).

Did not tell them. There was a pregnacy scare later which resulted in lectures about responsibilities.

Wait, what?  You mean when which one happens, your first sexual experience with a partner, or your parents' reaction to it?

They never knew about it. I would not have felt comfortable telling them and I saw no reason to.  Would guess they never even considered I was having sex until they knew I was living with a band in San Francisco.
