The security clearance was so high that I wasn't suppose to wear it. The group didn't want people to know who was cleared for the project. The badge was used to get into the project area, but not worn.
I remember they had these sheriff's badges with kids' names on them at the Ponderosa Ranch (an Old West-themed park in Nevada that closed down in 2004) but none of them ever said "Nevan". :( Having an usual name meant there was never one of those personalized kids' things for me. That was the only badge that I really wanted. lol
Other than that I've worn a nametag, but that's about it.
In the Navy when I took my turn acting as Shore Patrol in foreign ports we wore a white wrist band with a Queen's Crown design on it. We also work white belt and gaiters along with it to look more 'official'.
