    That'd be nice!

But I admit I lied about eating on the beach -- just wanted to refer back to your other question.
    :)

Or maybe Cedar Point's beach? -- still pissed as I hear more and more ads for the "new" Steel Vengeance coaster morphed from the Mean Streak.
    :)

And the gourmet chicken salad is from a deli near me - - it's very good but a little pricey to me.

I don't know for sure but I do think there are Lake Erie water warnings - - days when it's not good to go in. (I may be wrong on this.)

The only Great Lake I've visited is Michigan.  It is lovely and much like being on the Gulf Coast.  The beach is very pretty and the lake has breaking waves.

During the Summer, when the water warms up. Yes, it's an algae that produces a toxin. We have been fighting it for years, but the farmers along the river continue to use phosphates in their fertilizer.

    JESUS!
I can only hope that's a spoof article!

Well, all that bad horrible-for-us-all stuff ends up creating a tasty fish.
(And the guy in the video, though I didn't watch, is hot, ha!)

I would not eat Tilapia or Basa under any circumstance.  If I order gumbo I will ask if it includes.  Really, if it's food and  if the package say it's from Viet Nam I don't buy it....no matter what it is. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at May 9, 2018 12:41 PM MDT

That article was not written by a formal researcher. He does not cite any of his 'facts' Using 'Many have said...' is meaningless. One of those who said it could have been me or you. He may be correct, but I want to see some research. Do you like crab and lobster? Research what they eat.
Besides, tilapia tastes good. This post was edited by Element 99 at May 13, 2018 9:45 AM MDT
