I've not found that to be true -- unless you're talking about how people will atttribute characteristics to guys when they're rich that they don't when the guys are of regular monetary means. As in, (just as example, everyone, because he's the richest guy to come to mind at the moment and I don't mean this as TrumpBashing) do people find President Trump handsome because he's rich?
I don't find him handsome at all.

In his younger years he was OK, I guess, but certainly not now (to me). His money has nothing to do with my finding him handsome or not.

Geez- - did that make any sense?
     Ha!

No. And what worries me even more is that I understood it perfectly.

If a man has money, that implies that he has some skill that enabled him to make money.  Therefore, he can't be all bad and that improves our impression and maybe how we perceive his appearance.  Then again look at Harvey Weinstein.  There's no amount of money that could make him look good, especially now knowing what we know about him.

True.  A sad state if that's why you find someone attractive.

Not true on its face but true is the solid ground from which the perception comes.

Men are resources to women. Women are wired to be attracted to men of resource for obvious natural reasons. Resources make men more noticeable to women who then go on to notice attributes missed in men without. The more resources you have the more noticed are your other attributes. Hmm well that's the perception that some men have, often those who feel disgruntled about their lot in life. But, like so many things, it's a myth. Sure there are SOME women who are attracted to wealth and they are willing to basically sell their soul to have nice things and material goods, but most women wouldn't. And the idea that men are resources to women is just so far outdated, if ever it were true.  Very often these men who are willing to effectively buy love have very few other resources.

I have been saying it for years. She married me for my steady job, excellent health insurance and a hefty savings account. She no longer denies it.

John Molloy, author of "Dress For Success", investigated "new rich" and "old rich". He could not figure out what the difference was, but even four year old girls in Kansas could see it.
