As a veteran if combat, I’ve learned to reserve fear for that which is truly fearsome - drunks and texting teens driving on the highway, and the undiagnosed children of gun fanatics.
I am actually afraid of moths!!! Which doesn't sit well with my conservation bent. I just don't like anything that flies at me... and moths do that... However, that said, I would never hurt one and LOVE to look at them when they are sitting still... but they must stay outside, don't like them in the house.
My fav moth is one we call the T-bar moth, it's real name is plume moth

When I was a young boy, my grandparents had this cool old farm. There was an old tree that had giant moths hanging on it. They had giant eye designs on their wings. CREEPY!
