Big Deal or Nil? US starts trade war with its "allies". This is wise? Or otherwise?
Stock market doesn't like it. Our "allies" will hit back/retaliate. If we treat our friends like that what in the he** do our enemies think we'll to do to them?
Canada is already hitting back we placed almost 16 billion dollars worth of tariffs on selected US imports. Next mouth Trump is supposed to go to a G7 meeting in Quebec Canada (I think he will cancel) but if he does go I think Canada and other leaders will point out that trade wars are not as easily won as he thinks. But I don`t think he will listen so Canada and the US will both suffer economic hardships - the only difference is Canada has more social safety nets then the US so Canadian family's might not suffer as much.
