    (overreaction)

    It's one word, not two.

Yes i do. The media and hollywood is , by the most part, a Leftest platform that has no plans to fair and unbiased concerning anything not agreeing with their Democratic positions.  They can bad mouth anybody leaning to the Right, but if the Right were to do the same thing, it would not be allowed.

Kathy Griffin, not a conservative, also got fired for her "beheaded President Trump" photo. The left-leaning media and Hollywood did not congratulate Griffin for her take on our Right President - - they fired her, too. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at August 18, 2018 7:48 PM MDT

Hi carbonproduct! I've been in a hyper-sensitive mode for quite a while, double-checking how my posts may come across --  my other comment about Kathy Griffin -- I want to make sure you knew I did not intend to be argumentative - - I just find a similarity to both hers and Barr's getting fired but from different angles, so to speak.
    :)

It should never have been on the air in the first place. Less funny than a broken leg.

  • I don't care one way or the other. Ultimately it's a business decision. If ABC thought keeping her show would have been financially beneficial to them, they would've done it. I guess they figured it would harm them in the long run.

Serves as an example of just how restrictive and conformist our society has become in thirty years.

No, I really don't think it was an overreaction.

Coming to her defense after she said a black person was the baby of apes just isn't the right battle to fight.  She made her bed, so now she gets to sleep in it.
