I have a left over hunting rifle that was my dad's before he passed away. It's locked up, I never use it. I don't have any guns of my own right now. Personally I think they are too dangerous to have around especially with children. I don't like them at all honestly. I find them unnecessary. Just my opinion.
Hi Spunky Spunk Senior~ Big smiles and hugs!!! So, I'm gathering that you are agreeing to disagree with the prospect of the wording of the question is questionable and agreeing that you both disagree with this but agree that you have a right to disagree, the question has become irrelevant and everyone walks away happy?! I love it when adults actually figure out how to agreeably disagree. Love ya both! ;) :)
No, but I've been thinking about getting an old gun I saw at the antique store. I certainly won't be using it, but I just like the way it looks and want to put it on display in my lair.
During my entire lifetime, I've never personally owned any firearm whatsoever. However, as a Marine, I had several different pistols and rifles issued to me over the many years I served.
I own a rifle, a shotgun, and a BB gun. I actually shot a couple BBs just to see if the gun worked, but I have never fired the other two and I don't know where they are at the moment. I bought the shotgun specifically to shoot someone, but he grew a brain and stopped coming around.
