Except Bailey's. You can't do an authentic Tim Tam slam without Bailey's.

I'm not fond of it by itself, but biting the corners off a Tim Tam, sucking a shot of Bailey's through it then popping the rest of the biscuit in your mouth before it disintegrates is tricky to do - and an Australian rite of passage.

Neither of you are Russian, any more than I'm Irish. Unless you were born east of the 169th meridian west, west of the 27th meridian east and north of the 41st parallel (and carry a Russian passport), you ain't Russki no matter what your ancestry is. I'm Australian and proud of it - my appreciation for Guinness (in cold weather) notwithstanding.

I like beer. But I don't know when to stop. Whatever is in the house is one serving. I don't buy it very often because I resent spending my own money on something that only makes me stupid.

When I was actively alcoholic my fave for a few years was Chinese cooking alcohol -$1.39 for a 22 Oz bottle at 38% alcohol. Tasted awful but the price was right.

Otherwise I never really had a favorite drink but usually rum or whiskey.

Beer. Australian or Czech by preference. I like Pilsner when it's done properly, the floral aroma of Saaz hops makes a difference. I'm also partial to single malt Scotch.

    Cask-conditioned (or "real") ale.

Wine with a meal on rare occasions - usually club Annual Dinners.

I don't drink very often now, and drink spirits even less, but am not averse to a very occasional whisky.
