Craig's wooden portrayal has turned me off Bond until they replace him. The recent Bond movies have been about special effects rather than the character or plot, as Craig brings nothing to the role.
I agree about him bringing nothing to the role. The Bond he portrays is more about a rugged, uncouth, no finesse, sort of guy. I always felt the beauty of the Bond character was his ability to be smart, manly, and still be absolutely dressed to the nines, and on time to wine and dine... the women, of course. Craig is just a lot of action and muscle and not so much class and poise.
Even Lazenby carried himself with more panache than Craig - weird, given than there's more culture in a tub of yoghurt than there is in the average Australian.
Peter Sellers' Pink Panther pictures excepting the last one. He died half way through shooting it and rather than scrapping it, they completed it without him - so it limped and the continuity sucked. That said, it was still better than Steve Martin's remake - definitely his worst movie and one of the very few bad ones he's ever done. I also enjoyed the ORIGINAL Casino Royale, spoofing the Bond genre, starring David Niven, Sellers and a young Woody Allen.
