Pansexual is not the new Gay. It is a different word for something else. Namely sexual relations more based on feelings of rapport with people than on how those people looks.
People invent all such terms only to try and make sense of what they don't understand in their own heads so they can dismiss them and go on with their lives. .
It's not the new gay, it has an entirely different meaning and that makes all the difference.. the two terms are not interchangeable. I would also say logically that it's not every ten years and who on earth are these members to whom you refer? Seems like they are just a bunch of stick in the muds who are suspicious and scared of anyone who is different from them.
