i saw a documentary about Dubai yesterday

its crazy... showing the lifestyle of that city, where billionaires lives . they dont mind spending thousands of dollars into unimportants things like champagne or restaurant service.

only the riches can afford to live there.

    Well to many people who are not even millionaires of even close to that champagne and restaurant service are important.  Many would consider them among the finer things in life.

    Maybe those of us to whom a fancy restaurant and costly fizzy wine would be a rare treat, would value them all the more than those who take them as everyday life....

    So much for the USA being the richest country.   Lie number 5,000.

    Love the architecture, but it has a chilling aspect to it, like some futuristic supervillian city.

    Rachel Madow has things to say about Kushner and Qatar.  Apparently a war was started because Kushner did not get a loan from that country.  It's complicated.
