    I am not expert in any of this. (I agree with pearl's answer.)

    But I can't help think why some people who are vehemently anti-abortion and vehemently pro-life don't, then, follow through with wanting murder charges brought up for failed suicides.

    Yes, I realize law experts and logic experts will find my thought completely wrong, I'm sure. It was just my thought when I read the question -- no offense is intended on my part at all.

    And sometimes it IS.

    Suicide is expensive for the state and they may hold you accountable.  At least with a large fine.
