What, if anything, have you squandered? (I love using that word.)

Oh wow, you hit a real sore spot there. I'm really working on being a better steward of the income I've been blessed with.  Today I had to throw out a out of date pre-made salad that is $2.99, a total waste. It really bothers me, I'll stew over that for a few days. :  (

    Definitely.

I don't know that show very well for how popular it was.

Since I see everything as a lesson, I squander nothing.  Ever.

It's impossible when viewed this way.

You are lucky I am on here because I am the only one that will get this and realize what a great answer that was.

    That was really clever.

    All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
    and disregards the rest

Maybe they're song lyrics? Yup, you're right -  I don't know. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at July 10, 2018 6:22 PM MDT

Kellywise Ann Conway lying clown is right for me - - I don't recognize your answer. Other than it's very poetic sounding.

"The Boxer" - Simon and Garfunkel

    Much better live imo

I promise to listen but right now my mind is racing from a long day. I want to actually hear it when I listen.
    :)
Thanks for helping me out on the song, righty1.

I'm sorry -- that audience is ruining the song for me. I want to hear him. Bless their hearts for liking the song -- but keep quiet, people.
    :)
I'll come back another time -- rough days for me lately, righty1 and the yelling and screaming is too much for me.

I think I may know this song.

I do like the music and Simon's singing.

Now I feel I need to apologize but I am not going to. I simply do that too much sometimes.

The videos are always optional, Welby. Please don't feel obliged to watch it. It's absolutely fine if you don't want to.

That word makes me think of a duck. Like a mashup of swaggered, quacked and wandered.

My pants got too small for me so I squandered ten bux at Wally World for two pair that seemed to fit.

I can afford to throw money around like that because food is so cheap here. I pay ten to fifty cents a can for canned food and a buck a pound for frozen meat. I had to make a rule recently: no more food until I eat something to make room for it.

You can just barely see one can of coffee in the brown can. It is stacked to the ceiling. At $3.75 a can.
