How come so many people dislike Mr Trump and only about 1 1/2 people defending him?

We seem to have lost the Zeitgeist guy.

    Maybe, just maybe, it could have something to do with any or all of the following:

    A) Trump’s malignant narcissism
    B) his combative, chaotic management “style”
    C) his inability to form or understand a coherent policy
    D) his offensive and juvenile tweetstorms
    E) his inability to withstand criticism, and insistence on asserting his own at every opportunity
    F) Trump’s despicable character in general.

    Just a wild guess. This post was edited by Don Barzini at July 13, 2018 8:34 PM MDT

    Right on the money.

    Beware of Hubris Syndrome! A Leadership Personality Disorder
    Using power for self-glorification;
    An almost obsessive focus on his personal image;
    Excessive self-confidence, accompanied by contempt for advice or criticism of others;
    Loss of contact with reality;
    Speaking as a messiah;
    Reckless and impulsive actions; and Hubristic incompetence where supreme overconfidence leads to inattention to details.

    Too many Republicans don't like to be vocal about the political opinions.

    My home town goes Republican every election. But to talk to people there are not Republicans in the town. When discussing with my parents....they were shocked to find out the results and that it was regularly that way.

    The people of my hometown always vote the same way too; liberal. All six of them.

      Trump derangement syndrome is very real.  Before you even start a conversation with the left they have already got the anti-Trump script in their head they go by.  Proven facts and current events don't mean a thing to them.  Why even enter into any kind of  discussion when you already know they are deaf and blind to reality. Meanwhile the rest of us Trump supporters are: enjoying him draining the swamp of treasonous federal employees, bringing to light the corruption, lies and evil deeds of the fake news, many are enjoying new employment opportunities, we are looking forward to increased safety in America because our borders are on the way to being secure, Unfair international trade agreements are being made fair to name just a few.  Trump has the guts to make changes and undo past Presidents mistakes.  What is there to defend?

    The Trump bashers are like puppies, constantly yapping and chewing up shoes. There is no call to scare yourself. All you can do is wait for them to run down.

    Donald Trump had yet another awkward moment.. apparently at one of his rallies there was a crying baby and Trump wanted it removed "get that baby out of here! "It backfired when the Secret Service tried to remove Trump.

    Some sources suggest the die-hard Trump supporters have been manipulated by Fox News and other right wing media outlets.

    A few of them I’ve found never turn FoxNews off, or watch little else. Maybe they require constant consolation that every other source reporting a different view is still evil/fake/wrong/Anti-American, or whatever.
    Based on what is happening in Trumpworld, it isn’t hard to see why they would need reassurance.

    Would guess because he is a realist who rather shattered the liberal dream of enshrining victimhood, free food, shelter and clothing for everybody, and total government control.

    Well, the alternative was Clinton.

    No matter how bad things get, you can still use a dime for a screwdriver.

    Waddaya mean "what's a dime?"
