His whole approach was inappropriate, most certainly for the plant. What did it do the guy? He was also too forceful with the lady. There will most likely be some reaction taken to his abrupt action.
Maybe they don't even work together. :) Maybe they're just best friends who constantly play over-the-top pranks on each other. So it's all entirely appropriate! And she'll get him back!
Ha! :)
If that's not the case, it's very inappropriate. :)

Yes! It's an unmistakable case of foliage harassment. That poor plant was simply minding its own business when some strange woman leaped on it. Clearly the plant did nothing to provoke such a violent attack. Once it gets out of the greenhouse, it'll be in therapy for years as those kind of attacks can leave deep-rooted scars. Why, it may even develop didaskaleinophobia.
Nice answers so far, but all of you are blind and humorless. Use your imaginations.
First of all, the wig, the thick legs, the wide-stance posture; that's a guy dressed up as a woman. Whatever his reason for doing it isn't clear, but these two guys are obviously buddies having a "Three Stooges" moment. They're in the middle of a comedy skit, it's slapstick, and they are just acting out their parts.
You are quite sure about the plant? I am still very concerned it may have bent some of its plastic fronds :P And anyway... if we had guessed it was a man in a wig and they were buddies... that wouldn't be imaginative because it's the real answer :P Just being cheeky :P
LOL I like you, I think we are alike in many ways... I am very competitive - my *imagination* is now working overtime on how a competition to see who is the cheekier might go :P
