When I was actively addicted to alcohol I pawned a lot of stuff. I lost an underwater movie camera (a super8 in a housing) because I could never come up with the cash to get it out.

unfortunately Lost a whole recording studio a dozen keyboards, Synthesizers, Drum machines etc. Way back recession no work for a long time could never get them out once they were pawned.
Just some rather expensive Shrimps I couldn't really afford.....I was put on a See food diet and didn't have my specs on ,so just ate everything insight ...:(D
No. I've only been in a pawn shop one time and that was a huge one owned by a friend's family. I bought a saxophone for my child to learn to play. It turned out to be a high-quality instrument which she still plays to this day....not for a career but because she enjoys it. Everyone in my family plays an instrument. I'm the pianist.
Nope. I have been saving money since my first job. I have a nice cushion if I’m ever in need. I work overtime on average twice a week. I save every cent of the extra income on top of what I already save.
