You may be right there, Nice Jugs.
    :)

But I still prefer this song. Give it a listen if you get the time -- of all the R.E.M. songs I've heard, this one is my favorite. It's off their supposedly worst album, too (according to fans and critics, I guess). But if I had to choose, I'd call "Around the Sun" their best album.

  • REM is one heck of an awesome band, Welby!  I really enjoy their work. Michael Stipe is a sincerely interesting cat.
Despite all of REM & Stip's works, it's a song called "In The Sun" written by Perter Gabriel that I feel is perhaps the best Stipe has ever done...

Oh and "It's the End of The World"
Who doesn't love the idea of a cataclysmic apocalypse with a catchy jingle to end their hectic day?

Stipe get's kudos just for remembering the damn lyrics. LOL This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 6, 2018 10:40 AM MST

    Hello there WelbyQuentin
Oh there are so many good R.E.M. songs but my favorite is "Everybody hurts".
This song hit me very personally during my recovery from a life changing event.
