Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» The ONLY legal way to get rid of TGITWH is for him to resign or for Congress to IMPEACH and REMOVE HIM FROM OFFICE. Which do YOU prefer? Y?
Just for a bench mark, what color would you use to describe what you see when you look up, outside, on---let's say---a cloudless, eclipse free day at noon in....Oklahoma for example.
Well, you said, "he hasn't done anything to deserve impeachment."---so I was curious as to whether we would agree on the sky usually being called "blue" in such a situation.
Difference of opinion vs different language
And: The term benchmark, or bench mark, originates from the chiseled horizontal marks that surveyors made in stone structures, into which an angle-iron could be placed to form a "bench" for a leveling rod, thus ensuring that a leveling rod could be accurately repositioned in the same place in the future. These marks were usually indicated with a chiseled arrow below the horizontal line.

Obstruction doesn't qualify? That's what did for Nixon in 1974, when faced with a "resign or be impeached" situation he did the smart thing and trusted Ford to keep him out of jail. Trump isn't that smart. Study a little modern history, this is 1973 all over again. If anything, Trump is in slightly deeper kimchee as he also fired Sally Yates. Nixon didn't fire his AG, Richardson resigned.
Or you can employ chicanery, deception and manipulation with manufactured evidence in normally legal venues. This is proving to be the method of choice with the left. Good luck, you'll need it. As long as we're on the subject of deception, I think the best shot you folks have is to stuff ballot boxes this November with bogus votes and render the midterms null and void. Well, it's not like it hasn't happened before.
That's a great suggestion---if Mueller's investigation hasn't already found sufficient evidence of Trump's conspiracy with the Russians relative to the election; and if Trump doesn't succeed in convicting himself on obstruction of justice, maybe we'll try it your way---with chicanery, deception, and manipulation.
There is also a little matter of the Emoluments Clause. A suit pressed by the State of Md and the District of Columbia has been allowed to proceed. Under the radar still, but not for long.
