LOL!! I couldn't stomach one minute watching that news(?) channel.  Seriously, I have never heard this, and honestly believe it never happened. Won't believe it unless someone can provide a link.

I have not seen it....but know it was a nothing cause if it was serious the "news" would not stop talking about it for at least a month.

At least. :) Most of the content he wrote could describe Obama.

Is this a new rule for this site---nothing is to be considered true unless the "news" talks about it for "at least a month?"

Nope. Fake News is when it is false. As is the link posted of the "assault" commited by President Trump at the NATO meeting. It was neither a push, shove nor assault. And to say otherwise is Fake News. But thank you for the link I had not seen it and after seeing it I understand why no one posted it before.

It was absolutely and undeniably a shove and Duško Markovic didn't ask for it, so that's assault by definition. Unwanted physical contact, inflicted by intention.
It wasn't a bodyslam, Trump leaves that sort of thing to Greg Gianforte (R, Montana). This post was edited by Slartibartfast at August 4, 2018 9:22 PM MDT

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assault

    "
Unwanted physical contact". Both a crime and a tort. QED.

It wasn't aggravated, or assault with battery. But still influcting unwanted contact. That's the ball game.

Wiki....you want me to rely on wiki?

You said assault was a possible reason for impeachment which brings up to the legal/law definition of assault....and it is not a simple unwanted touch as I posted above.

I have mentioned that as an ADHD person, I do not like to write long responses.

I use Wikipedia occasionally.  I know the answer to most of the questions I answer on this site---but frequently Wikipedia has the correct answer as well; and once I have read what they say and would write essentially the same answer myself, "cut and paste" saves me a lot of the effort that I would need to exert to write an answer.

Whenever I cut and paste, I Italicize that content.

Aside from Donald Trump and Fox news, very few mainstream sources are invested in providing disinformation to the American public.

MSNBC is the most biased network on TV.

Again Wiki is fine for basic stuff but not for things in debate.

Here is general legal definition ...as I said if it would be possible grounds for impeachment that is the definition to be used.

    1.  Intentionally putting another person in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact

"Offensive contact". Still applies, I can guarantee that Mr Markovic didn't thank His Royal Orangeness for roughly pushing him aside.

If that was any from of assault anyone who has everyone who has ever moved through a crowd is guilty of numerous assaults.....lol
Some are people are blinded by their hatred of President Trump they cannot see facts .

A person bringing facts(?) to the table should also bring the proof. Pushing past someone does not equal assault. I will also make note for myself about the manner in which you seem to arrive at and embrace how other people feel.

Unfortunately, glenho, My2Cents edited my reply to you.  As such your reply to my reply is meaningless.

(I take that statement back, at least you got to read the original.---But those who didn't might be confused by not being able to have read what I said.) This post was edited by tom jackson at August 4, 2018 2:49 PM MDT

Observations---1) you don't seem to understand when the burden of "onus probandi" is shouldered by an individual.  2) An assault is the act of inflicting or unwanted physical contact upon a person.

It is reasonable to assume how other people feel about something by the attitude they have about the truth. I will simply say that the the way in which you evaluate how I may "seem to arrive at and embrace how other people feel" is erroneous.

You brought up 3 issues.  I've covered all three. This post was edited by tom jackson at August 4, 2018 9:16 PM MDT

You posted on the previous page.

He's done nothing to be impeached for. I was not a GOP supporter until recently when I joined the #WalkAway movement. Seeing how the Dems have been acting, I no longer support anything they do or say. I was a democrat from birth and always supported them no matter what. So glad I finally woke up and smelled the coffee.

I posted about #WalkAway because this thread reminds me of the plot of a typical Greek Tragedy---tragic assumptions with dire consequences about what is really real.

How about a stroke that leaves him with Aphasia? Everything he says now is gibberish but the words we can understand. With Aphasia they are all gibberish and unintelligible. My stepfather had it after a very bad accident and he would make noises that no one but my mom could understand. I wonder if a prez  who had Aphasia could stay in office? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply Sharon and Happy Saturday!   :) This post was edited by RosieG at August 4, 2018 3:19 AM MDT

I'm pretty sure there is a third option but it includes  a couple of Marine's dragging Donald Trump out of office. If there is evidence that proves Trump put the Nation in danger of attack and he is a present threat to the Nations safety they wouldn't wait for congress they would strip Trump of his Commander and Chief role and hand the Nuclear football over to some one else. Cheers and happy weekend!
