    Yep.  For some reason they are much prouder of the portables.  I guess those sides and (usually wooden) tops are expensive.

    I will have a dishwasher in my kitchen.  Many times one can be added easily if there is a 24" base cabinet near the sink.

    I don't need a dishwasher because I only have one plate and a fork. After use I just put it in the fridge till next time then after a couple of weeks pour hot water in it to soak it and it makes a nice plate of soupy stuff for an easy meal.

    It certainly would not bother me, having no dishwasher there. That must be one of the least important accessories when choosing a new home!

  • Never a deal breaker.  I prefer to wash my own dishes.  There are only two of us here.   People have become lazy and spoiled.
