What is something you try to do but always seems to be beyond the limit of your capabilities?

Eg -I try to keep a neat, tidy, orderly clean household but I always fail.

    Managing time.
I never have enough time, it seems in a day, week, month or year to take care of my responsibilities and do some things I would like to do.  The priorities and responsibilities seem to come always before the enjoyment part.  Either that or I am too tired by the time I get to the enjoyment part.  All I desire by then is a nice massage, a hot bubble bath, a stiff cocktail with a good book.   That never happens but it is fun to dream about. :) :)

Be nice to stupid people. No matter how hard I try I fail.

Drawing any number of contributors to this anemic site into thoughtful discussions on mature subject matter.

It seems more that the membership here is lacking either the fortitude or the acumen to afford reasoned discourse about meaningful topics.

So be it, let the drivel about tildes and trash bags continue to be the order of the day. This post was edited by Don Barzini at August 25, 2018 9:25 AM MDT

It is nice, though, when you find a morsel of interest, isn't it?

It’s the very possibility that keeps me hangin’ around, Spunky.

Me, too.  That and the fact that any other such site I've been on has the same problems. :)
