You crack me up Element.  Big HUGE Giggles!!!  I'm guessing it had something to do with a big fish that swims in the sea served on a bed of lettuce or in between two slices of bread. ......  Big Winks and Smiles!!!!!!

    Yummmm and healthy too!!!!!
Our taste buds must have been talking!!  I love turkey and cheese on whole grain bread.  You know what they say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away...."  Or at least that is what my mom used to say to the doctor said.  Hence, we had an apple in our lunches every day. :)
And I am a glutton for cheese sticks.  I put one in Don's lunch when I can.  He loves them too.  :) :)  Awesome Rizz!  Thanks for sharing.  See, sometimes I formulate a healthier grocery list when I find out what other people I like are having.  I get into ruts sometimes buying and making the same thing over and over again.  When I find myself doing this, I ask a fun question like this and it broadens my horizons.  It's good for us.  Thanks Rizz. :) :)

I try to eat healthy two out of my three daily meals. I was too lazy to cook yesterday. This is why I ate what I did. I eat whole grain pasta noodles instead of normal pasta. I do my best to mostly eat complex carbs over simple carbs.

My husband isn't making dinner tonight so we're going out to eat tonight.  We're probably going to go to Subway.

And you can have a great salad from your garden.  Subway is awesome too.  I love it when someone else makes dinner for a change.  Thanks Livvie. :) :)

This is why you offer to exchange large bills for them to do it.  It's a wonderful little trade we've created. Big winks and smiles.

Surrounded by laughter and joy is the best way to digest any meal.  That and homemade strawberry ice cream.  I haven't had homemade ice cream in years!  It sounds wonderful Thriftymaid.  :) :)

  • I made a creamy pasta dish with rigatoni, chard, and lima beans. It's one of my favorite recipes.

I made fettuccine in an Alfredo sauce on Sunday night.  It sounds fabulous Nevan.  I'm not a big fan of lima beans.  How do you cook them?  Maybe I've been doing wrong all these years.  I normally just boil them and serve them with butter and sea salt.  I might like them better if I knew a better way. :)

  • Yeah my dad hated lima beans as a kid. I never liked them much either until I discovered this recipe. I saute the lima beans with olive oil, onion, Italian parsley, prosciutto, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Then add white wine, chicken broth, and whipping cream. Simmer for 15 minutes, then add chard and simmer for 3 minutes. The result is amazing :)
