Why are women so much more modest than men?

Are they though.....I would say men find modesty Harder two Tackle    :)D

They have more to be modest with.  

We are?  I don't know if that is true.  Perhaps men just see us as being like that.

depends what you mean by modest
some people think it's only a matter of how much flesh shows - in which case women tend to show more, except at the beach
depending on where you live and the type of event, women are required to show more - eg lower necklines and lower legs in skirts at work

but if "modest" means not stating beneficial or positive achievements or facts:
lack of testosterone reduces confidence and initiative
a woman who says something positive about herself is unlikely to be believed and will probably be instantly put down with negative jokes
women are praised for being modest
most religions assert that modesty in women is a virtue and have negative or punitive responses to lack of modesty
