What music artist/group do you like for one especially foremost reason?

I love Bananarama!

Besides enjoying their music/voices, I really like them because they always seem to have a sense of "fun" and they seem not to take themselves overly seriously. Excellent!

That was really good, designer. I enjoyed listening. I know of the name Rush. But I don't think I've ever heard anything, knowingly, while listening, that it is Rush.
I enjoyed reading your answer about them, too.
    :)
    Thanks!

    Hello again Welby Quentin
I am glad you enjoyed it. its not often a rock band will write a song about Kubla Khan and Xanadu.
A few of my favorite lines from some of their songs...
"A fawn eyed girl with sun browned legs, dances on the edge of his dreams"...(analog kid)
"One likes to believe in the freedom of music, but glittering prizes and endless compromises, shatters the illusion of integrity..." (spirit of the radio)
"Living in a fish eye lens, caught in the cameras eye, I have no heart to lie, I cant pretend a stranger is a long awaited friend" (limelight)
"No, his mind is not for rent, to any God or government, always hopeful yet discontent, he knows changes aren't permanent"..(Tom Sawyer)
"There is unrest in the forest, there is trouble with the tree's. for the maples want more sunlight, but the oaks ignore their pleas
the trouble with the maple's, and their quite convinced they're right, they say the oaks are just to lofty, and they grab up all the light
but the oaks cant help their feelings if they like the way they're made, and they wonder why the maples cant be happy in their shade,,"
    (the Trees)
It is because of lyrics like these I find Rush so thoughtful. they are true story tellers.
I will leave you with a few more tunes, if you have the time, give em' a listen

the first is called Red Barchetta, about a drive with his uncles car
the second is Subdivions, about being cast out for not being "cool"
the third is Twilight one, yes, about the TV show.

I read your answer quite a while ago and then promptly forgot to respond. Sorry!
Anyway, this gives me a chance to come back again and listen to the additional songs you posted. Not at the moment but I will be back!

I listened to the other two songs now. Enjoyed both.

Hey, in that video for the Twilight Zone song. Isn't there an actual episode from the show where a man walks around a deserted town and then at the end a giant boy is there looking down at him -- he was a boy's toy in a toyland town? Wouldn't call myself a fan, but I've enjoyed some of their music. I am, however, a Twilight Zone fan.

    Good morning WelbyQuintin
I am happy to hear you enjoyed the music.
"Red Barchetta" was inspired by a poem, " A nice morning drive" by Richard S Foster. Set in a dystopian future where all older cars have been outlawed.
"the Twilight zone" was taken from several Twilight Zone episodes,

I am going to link a few more for you...
Lime light...one of their more famous songs

    Spirit of the radio
    https://youtu.be/jQUDiCiNlqQ

And if you are feeling brave...
2112, about 20 minutes long...This was their answer to the record company that said they needed to do some more commercial friendly songs. In an effort to tell them that they will do what they want whether it cost them their contract or not...
