Ya we have deer in our area and in the golfing community I work at. The deer in the area I work in love me because I'm the guy with the keys to all the fancy gardens and I'm always throwing fancy rich people food over the fences for them Cheers and happy week end!
Yes! Would you like them? They're VERY annoying!!! They eat everything (flowers, fruits, vegetables), they taunt the neighborhood dogs all night (and you thought raccoons were bad), and they think they own the road (it's like they're saying, "come on... I DARE you to hit me!").
I'm told so but I haven't seen a single one here. I have seen lots of gators and one black bear and a few black snakes. Before I moved down here in 2014 I lived in Washington State and, at night, deer would come right up to my sliding door. One night when I took my trash to the outside container several including one huge one came up to me...right up to me. It was an experience looking them in the eyes so close. I backed away from them slowly and went back into the house. I was affected by that experience. There were so many deer our roaming around at night the cops would try to herd them back down into the gorge by the river. I miss being up there, particularly four beautiful seasons.
We had lots of them in our backyard in Pennsylvania. No wonder, we had our house in the middle of the woods. My hubby had built them a nice feeder, and every day after returning from work, he fed them, there stood an armee of about 15 deer and waited for him already. No wonder about that either - they got corn with molasses...When hubby turned away from the feeder, the first ones were already eating....Not only deer were to be seen, it was a big zoo out there....
