How much alcohol does it take to equal drunkenness? "Getting drunk" or "being drunk" does not mean the same thing for every person:

Some people are able to drink very little amounts of alcohol before it makes them drink drunk, while others can consume massive amounts of alcohol without even getting drunk. The fact that a person drinks a lot of alcohol does not always equate drunkenness.

It depends on a number of factors. The size of the drinker is quite important. A large man drinking 5 beers would have a much lower percentage of alcohol in him than a person half of his size who drinks the same amount. You might not even know the 250 pound man has been drinking. A 125 pound woman might be falling down drunk. Another major factor is how long a person has been drinking. (years) A rookie might pass out after three drinks, whereas a person of the same size that has been drinking for decades might be able to drink three times that amount to show the same effects. I could add a few more things, but you are probably bored by now. This post was edited by Element 99 at September 30, 2018 8:35 AM MDT

See, why did you have to do that? Now I have to go back and double-check with a fine-toothed comb. You know how I obsess. (Just kidding!)

Your grammar is fine, but I think you missed a  typo. Proofreading is not your strong suit.

Randy, you're off your game this morning!

Some people are able to drink very little small amounts of alcohol before it makes them drink drunk, others can consume massive amounts of alcohol without even getting drunk. The fact that a person drinks a lot of alcohol does not always equate to drunkenness.

In addition, some people may not appear drunk, but have impaired cognition and impaired motor skills. This post was edited by Jane S at September 29, 2018 6:47 PM MDT

If I have more than a couple of drinks I am pretty much drunk.  However I act.
