Are you looking forward to the Saturday Night Live new season premiere tonight?

I am but I'll have to wait till tomorrow to watch it because I can't stay up past !:00 PM these days ( so I'll record it). Actually my  PVR will remember to do that for me.  I was thinking how TV technology has changed since the first season of SNL - if I recall my remote control was bigger then a PC key booed and it had a cable  on it that had to hook up to big convert box. TV have come a long way too. Cheers and happy weekend!

The last time I watched it I didn't laugh once. I'm a fan of the first ten years.

Ya there was a 20 year span were it sucked but for the last couple of years it's been getting hilarious again Not sure about this but on a new SNL commercial I thought I caught a glimpse of MR. Bill so they might be bringing him back. Cheers and happy weekend!

Nope, it hasn’t been funny in years. I miss the golden years of SNL. The 80’s and 90’s were the best. This post was edited by Rizz at September 29, 2018 9:29 PM MDT

I am.  I'll give it a try.  Usually the first show of the season is worth watching.

It's gotten so mind-numbingly predictable ever since Election Day 2016 that it's not even watchable any more. Between the ad naseum anti-Trump slant of practically everything that's uttered on the show to the listless, lifeless "skits", there's nothing to see there.
Even the 30% of the material they put out that's not we're-progressive-libs-who-have-to-prove-how-much-we-hate-Trump-more-than-anyone-else-does is boring as can be. I often tune in every now and again to see if they've come up with something funny or different or new, and more often than not, I go away disappointed.
