When temporary Marshal Law is declared by President Trump, it will allow civilians to get arrested without the protection of the constitution, this in turn will allow the Deep State criminal organization, and all who are involved with it, to get arrested and sent to justice. He will go down as the greatest President ever known in USA History. He , of course, will have to step down after Marshal Law is lifted and the USA is running under a Constitutional Republic again. I personally, am willing to give up my freedoms temporarily, in order to clean out the Swamp once and for all.
Depending on the reasons behind declaring Martial Law you may also see the following happen:
The suspension of the Constitution, probably starting with the First and Second Amendments. Confiscation of firearms; It's happened before and may happen again. Suspension of Habeas Corpus; Imprisonment without due process and without a trial. Travel restrictions, including road closures and possibly even quarantine zones. Mandatory curfews and mandatory identification. Automatic search and seizures without a warrant and who knows what else.
When Martial Law can be enacted is a pretty touchy subject, largely because our founders never intended the federal government or a standing army be permitted to take such actions. Unfortunately, many or even most people accept these unconstitutional activities and are more than willing to give up their essential liberties in exchange for peace of mind and not having to think for themselves. Several times in the course of our history, martial law of varying degrees have been declared. The most obvious and often-cited example was when President Lincoln declared martial law during the Civil War.
This is something, Benjamin Franklin warned about when he wrote: "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Our founders were very wary of using the military to enforce public policy, and concerns about this type of abuse date back to, and largely influenced, the creation of the Constitution.
Thing is if Martial Law is ever declared nation-wide, will it be temporary or will it become a permanent part of our landscape and lives? It's something we all need to keep in mind. :)
