How badly do Republicans want Hillary Clinton to run for president again in 2020?

Her ongoing anger about and refusal to let go of her 2016 defeat as well as her contempt for voters, especially in the heartland, will play right into their hands. Want President Trump to be re-elected? Hillary can make it happen!

I've been speculating since about December of 2016 whether or not she would run for the presidency again in 2020 (or after).  It would be interesting to see that happen.

If the Dems run her in 2020, Trump is a two-term president.  I'm a Democrat and would not vote for her.

I imagine they’d fall over themselves with delight.
It would be a truly sad statement that Dems couldn’t field another alternative. Hillary lost when she was still relevant in ‘16, hard to imagine she’s any more likely to win now that she isn’t.
Dems would be better served to forget that idea, IMO. This post was edited by Don Barzini at October 14, 2018 6:34 PM MDT

Time for some new Democrat blood.  The oldsters have too much baggage at this point although I'm hard pressed to suggest a candidate.  Sad, isn't it?

The republicans would love it. She would be a sure bet for Trump to earn a second term. Now that she’s insulted many voters, especially in the heartland she’s even less liked. My mother is a hardcore democrat and she voted for Trumo because she despises Hillary. The democrats would fair much better finding a better candidate and to not rig another primary. They angered many voters who were mostly Bernie supporters. If they want to win again they had better learned from their mistakes. This post was edited by Rizz at October 15, 2018 1:39 PM MDT

The Dems could NOT be that stupid.

I'd like to see Tammy Duckworth step up to the plate. Unlikely, but she'd be a terrific POTUS. Purple Heart versus Bonespurs.

  • How ridiculous. That is not at all how I have perceived her since her loss.  But Republicans spread this kind of stuff all the time. As the Trumpster hates her!  lol.  No worries she has no intention of running!

Yeah right. And there's a bridge about 3 miles from my house in Brooklyn, NY, that I can sell you fairly cheap!

  • It's like this Stu, if she's living, she's running. Her warped and obsessive desire for power at any costs, won't allow anything but another run. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 15, 2018 9:31 PM MDT
