  • Hm good question. Almost paradoxical. I'm not sure. Perhaps we can test for intelligence then turn that number upside down.

Decaf coffee. How is the caffeine extracted and where does it go?

I agree with Element. The amount of stupidity is mind boggling and frightening.

  • I see what you're saying. I was thinking just now that if everybody were to point at a stupid person eventually someone is going to point at us. Maybe we're all stupid to somebody. You know? Thanks for responding.

  • The extent of Jeanie's powers and Samantha's powers in "I Dream Of Jeanie" and "Bewitched" amazes me, and the contemplation over which one's abilities is greater has always been a mind-boggler.  I've not fully determined the superior one yet, but I am leaning toward Samantha.

  • You know? I used to watch that when I was very little and really Really wondered what I could do to have powers too. :)

It amazes me and boggles my mind that you were amazed at something that existed only in make-believe TV shows

  • LOL! I do get your point, but I have a spirit of whimsy and have always been amazed by the imaginary and the make-believe. Endless fanciful and fascinating stuff lies in the realm of Books and Music and Art and even Television-land. I tend to be both intrigued and inspired by simple pleasures.

(What's something amazing and mind-boggling to you every time you think about it?)

I find it incredulous that more people do not care about speaking and writing correctly.

  • Really??
I feel there's a hidden joke here that I'm missing.

That's not a feeling, it's a thought, and there's absolutely no joke in there, hidden or otherwise. It's a simple, direct, straightforward answer to the question you posed.

For now, my dear, for now. Take comfort in the possibility and probability that this too shall someday pass.

Garden slugs blow my mind every time I think about them. They have over 2000 teeth and only one foot  so I think that's a bit mind blowing.  Also there would be no Red wood forests in America without the help from slugs. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at October 17, 2018 8:45 AM MDT

    "In Paradisum'

     - - the last movement of Gabriel Faure's "Requiem"

     - - music means a lot to me; this piece goes beyond earthly realms of composition for me

     - - the amazing and mind boggling aspect to this piece may be just my own individual response

     - - I include a recording of the piece that shows the actual written-out music notes - - there they are, in print, very everyday-looking music yet the sum result amazes me and boggles me

     - - thank you for all your music, Gabriel Faure -- and, for me, especially these three and a half minutes

    :)

Wonderful work of music!  I like the part that starts off with a brief violin or viola melody that returns a couple of times.
