If someone is given the death penalty, should it be commuted to a lesser sentence if they are extremely attractive?
Lewis Thornton Powell (April 22, 1844 – July 7, 1865), also known as Lewis Payne. He was an American citizen executed for the attempted to assassination of United States Secretary of StateWilliam H. Seward on April 14, 1865.
You're not going to believe this - - I've read about him and thought he was EXTREMELY attractive, too! Wow -- and that photo is timeless. His style, hair style, shirt and the photograph itself -- could be today.
Oh, and to answer your question -- Regardless of attractiveness, I've always sort of thought it was a questionable practice to kill people in order to let people know it's wrong to kill people.
I get where you're coming from - - and this Lewis Powell would have been fun to meet. I admit it -- I base that completely and solely on his looks. And lust. I admit it. :)
Go to Saudi Arabia ....you can be publicly beheaded for the most trivial things there....if they don't like your face its off with you're head.....:( The rich have wealth beyond your dreams while the majority of its people live in abstract poverty.......:( The English are friends with them as we sell them billions of £ pounds of arms and munitions and they let us have their oil....:(
If there is anything I despise more than Russians, It's Saudis... They are the financiers of 9/11 and our government leaders drop to their knees for these pigs

I have yet to work out why any country England,America,France,Getmany,Chaina ,whoever make and supply arms and munitions to any despot country......Is more and greed more important then trying to live in peace rather than in peices...:( To save lives ,maybe only countries leaders and politicians should fight it out to the death on the battle field.... I don't think there would be any more wars if that was the case...
The answer to your first pondering is easy: profits. Jobs and contracts for denizens of the military-industrial complex that pays huge taxes to, and supports political campaigns of, government entities.
