I would say our foreign policy. We aren't exactly known for great diplomacy. See a country? Bomb that country. Problem solved. It shouldn't work like that but we keep knocking down doors. Some would argue it is necessary. I've never been a huge fan of it.
Americans tell each other they are free, but when somebody does something actually free, they start saying "Uh oh, we gotta put a stop to that!"
