The tub of hot water and what I put in it when I soak.  Oh I guess the toilet too.  Think about it.  How can you enjoy a hot bath if you need to go.

Hi, Lav, what's an Eiffel, like the tower?

  • Hi there, TFJ.  My colored glass Eiffels are a set of three Eiffel Towers -  Blue, Pink, Purple - that my daughter bought a few years back for Christmas.  I'd say they're about 10 inches in height, maybe a little less.   They're cute.

Believe it or not, a framed photo of this image of Janet Leigh from "Psycho."
One entire wall has nothing on it except this photo.

(I find comfort most likely from how much the movie impacted me because the first time I saw it in my teen years, I immediately fell in love with Bernard Herrmann's music for the movie.)

The photo in the bathroom has generated a couple of funny reactions from people.

I'm starting to think that you are having a lot of "fun" with it. I try not to judge, but I am jealous.

    I'm alone.
I wanted to say that people don't bother me when I'm in there, but they do. If I'm in there for more than three minutes, it's a guarantee someone is going to come looking for me to ask me for something.

Randy D: "Listen, if you're not too busy, I'm really going to need that sandwich you were supposed to make for me."

Just Asking:  "How did you get into my bathroom?  Heck, for that matter, how did you even get into my house?"

Randy D:  "Er, um, this is my house, remember?  I lured you here with coffee last night and then you had your way with me.  In gratitude, you promised to make a sandwich for me."

      Just Asking:  "Wait a minute . . . "

Randy D:  "So what are we talking here," somewhere between two to five minutes until sandwich time?"

Just Asking: "Is that my blouse you're wearing?"

Randy D: "Of course it is.  That was part of your fantasy.  Gee, it's almost as if you don't remember anything we did.  By the way, no mayonnaise, just honey mustard."

Just Asking: "Who are you calling 'honey'?  And take off my blouse; you're stretching it all out of shape."

Randy D: "If I take it off, with you in the shower like that, things might start all over again, and that would delay my sandwich."

Just Asking: "That will never happen, in fact, I'm not sure anything happened last night either.  I don't know how you got me over here, but I'm going to call the police as soon as I get out of this shower, and wait until I tell Jane S and Carbie what you've done."

Randy D: "Wow, will they be jealous!  They'll each want their own turns!"

      Just Asking: "Get out!"
