    I've never worn one. EVER.

    I know what time it is.  It's easy.  I don't need a watch.  I don't need a designer watch.   Another crutch.  Outmoded, antediluvian.

    I have one but don't wear it anymore. I usually don't care what time it is and there is always a clock nearby at home.

    Like Sharon (oh is that Sharon?  Sharon are you in there?) I have never worn one. Nor do I carry any kind of cellular phone. What I do miss is all the clocks which used to be displayed on building and businesses (di that really happen or did I dream it?) years ago but were discontinued a long time ago.

    I still wear a wristwatch.  I don't carry my phone around like it's rooted to the palm of my hand.  In fact, I rarely even turn on my cellphone.

    Oh my, I remember my parents doing that. Always turning it off. you really have to consider.  If everyone turned off their phone all the time, they’d all be useless. 

    Try leaving it on. You’ll like it.

    Sorry, but I don't feel the need to be connected to the world 24/7.  I use the phone at MY convenience.  Anyone who wants to reach me can call me at work or at home, leave messages if I'm not there.  If everyone turned off their phones, we wouldn't have to listen to everyone's personal conversations in confined areas.

      I can't stand the 24/7 connectivity nor the expectation thereof. I miss the good old days of public phones on every corner and finding out what happened on the news, weather and sports at regalar regular, predetermined intervals throughout the day.  I fondly remember the surprise of hearing from someone or contacting someone when it was convenient for either party or both parties without knowing that it could happen at a second's notice.

    I'm not much of a phone person so, for me, a cell phone is a convenience if I need assistance on the road.  I just don't understand the need for some folks to continuously be looking at their phone to see if they got a call or a text.  I guess I'm just a dinosaur when it comes to too much technology.  

    By the way, it's regular.

      Indigo, I think cell phones are useless regardless of being turned on or turned off, lol.

    I love my iphone watch.  Where else can you get a choice of dial faces including toy story and all the other ammenities? I love, love my watch.Being able to answer the phone no matter where I'm at without digging in my purse is a big plus.

    I feel naked without a watch and I don't have my phone glued to me so I can't always use that to check the time. I often forget it in my car and I'll just be like "oh well, it'll be there when I get back." Assuming no one gets in and steals it, but it's a cheapo phone anyway.

  • I haven't worn a watch for almost 30 years.   I have always liked the idea of a watch, and I have seen many pretty watches, but as soon as I put one on I cannot wait to take it off.   I am the same way with rings, bracelets and earrings. I do wear a necklace almost every day though, and I feel weird if I go out without one.

    I own a watch, but I don't like being controlled by time, so I don't take my phone or watch out with me, there's usually a clock on a wall somewhere, and I have the time on my car dash.

    I gave them up before smartphones. I don't remember if it was because of my metal allergy or because it was just a pain to wear them when I was in dental. Maybe both.
