    Its not the sandwiches themselves but the attendant lying, false promises, illegal payoffs, and perversions that are liable to disturb people.

    I serve sandwiches.  I don't eat bread.

    I still love to make them for other people.

    This is my idea of a sandwich.  Wrap it in a leaf of lettuce.
    1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained  NO NO NO.  Never canned.  Only fre
    • 3 tablespoons tahini
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon or spicy brown mustard
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave nectar   No sugar, not for me.
    • ¼ cup diced red onion
    • ¼ cup diced celery
    • ¼ cup diced pickle
    • 1 teaspoon capers, drained and loosely chopped   Not for me.
    • Healthy pinch each sea salt and black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon roasted unsalted sunflower seeds (optional)  They have to be fresh, no roasting....

    You're supposed to chunder from drinking too much beer - Vegemite tends to counteract that, it's a terrific hangover cure. Vitamin B.

  • The only sandwich I  actually crave at times is Togo's #24 - 6" turkey & avocado with no mayo.  I don't generally have cravings for a sandwich, but I have been a big fan of their #24 since I was a little kid.   I am sure the other items on the menu are very good as well, but #24 has my number.
