    I was Mugged in London and I fought back, I managed to conflict serious injury to my Mugger, I had a knife and I removed his left eye and also stabbed him in the chest.

    Not really, there have been several attempts, none successful. 

    Last one was in Basel a few years back.  The guy had a knife, I had a bottle of wine - he ended up in the Hospital with a broke skull, broken arm and herniated testicles.  The police pressed no charges against me.

    Memorable one was 6 years ago in Lagos.  Police officers at a a checkpoint coming from the airport demanded a fine be paid on the spot.  they got their fine money and a bogus credit card.  Cost of doing business in West Africa in general, Nigeria a common occurrence.  NBD - one never argues with a loaded AK stuck in your face.

    I had someone steal a purse right out of my hand when I was walking and they were driving.  A passenger ripped my purse right from my hands.

    The joke was on them.  The purse was empty.  I was just carrying it because it matched my shoes.

    I've never yet been mugged or dipped....Not sure what I would do until it happens....I've only ever been mugged by the criminals in local government and our so called legal professionals  ...:(

    It was two-on-one, they were both 6'+, I'm not even 5'6". I gave them what I had, it wasn't much. I sometimes fantasize about reacting differently, but the reality is i had no chance.

    Once a guy with a knife tried to rob me so I thought fast and pretended to be gay then I asked him if he wanted to get lucky and I glanced over at some bushes . When he glanced over at the bushes I clocked him in the side of the head with a 6 pack of Lucky lager that I had in a plastic bag. Cheers!
