Not yet - I'm still waiting to hear about the US secondary candidates (Libertarian and Green party). Cheers!

I don't see a lot of political questions on here. What I do see is a few (sometimes just one) users who like to jump on the outrage bandwagon and just bash on this or that popular political figure in the news, and offer nothing in the way of any kind of actual understanding or nuance.

What are you talking about, Nelly. I'm just about as apolitical as you can get. Most libertarians are.  They wanna take over the world...and leave you the hell alone. :-)

Im talking more of the one sided attack on presidential nominees. I dont mind them but when they fill the question board and its all negativity. It gets old.

I try not to be a stick in the mud but repeat negativity is irritating to me. Its like listening to a skipping record

  • Mmm. I understand what you mean.

I think some people feel that, if they can get people to think more clearly, they might be able to avert a disastrous election result -- people on both sides of course.

Others are just using the questions as bait for a troll trap.

I avoid a lot of those questions because as an Australian, despite the fact that news in America has a huge and direct effect on us here, I have no power to vote over there.

I do get tired of the questions which have a hysterical tone, or which are garbled and nonsensical.

But I would never wish to discourage a person from enquiring about something which is of great importance to them and could help people think more.

Nah, I think the questions that are far more deserving to be called crap are those whose only intent is to criticise the number of questions asked by another member.

I've seen some of what YOU have contributed such as:

    Who are you
Does your nose run when you eat
Do you use the same napkin to wipe your nose and your mouth
Would you give me a manicure
    Why is it so hot

Now THOSE are the kind of mindless questions that lower the bar and are worthy of being called crap.
