Oh boy. The gluten issue is a big one with many people. But I think wheat is amazing.
I have wheatberries. This is what grows wheat, I guess. (??) I know it grows wheatgrass and I cannot believe I don't know this, but I am not sure if this produces wheat. I don't think so. I think they are separate. Anywhoooo a wheat grain and a wheat berry are similar enough for me to tell you they are both loaded with nutrition and if you merely set the seeds in filtered water overnight and maybe drain and let it sit for a day or two, the seeds sprout and at this state, they are super packed with nutrients and many use them in this state because it gives a noticeable amount of energy not available in cooked foods.
Wheat berries are wheat seeds and grow wheat plants. Wheat grass is the young shoots of them. Go here to find out first hand and compare to a few other foods.
The ones that grow coffee, which I thought may not have fit the question until I reverse-image-searched your second image. lol Yeah, if that counts in your book, coffee counts in mine.
I couldn't say which is the most important, because I focus on variety to nourish the diversity of good bacteria in my gut biome.
I boycott chia and quinoa because their commercial production is causing the poverty and destruction of the native tribes who used to depend on them for their staple diets.
Nuts: cahew, almond, pecan, walnut, peanut, brazil, pistachio, hazel and macadamia Cereals, (wHole or wholemeal): rice. oats, barley, wheat, corn Pulses: soy, chick pea, split pea, aduki, red kidney, green & brown lentil, berlotti, butter beans Seeds: pine, pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, poppy
And let's not forget that every vegetable and fruit grows from seed.
And for those who eat animals or their products, the animals depended for their lives on plants that grew from seeds
I eat 1/4 cup sesame seeds most days. They are full of good stuff. Lots of copper and potassium. People seem to forget about those delicious little seeds.
