Do you lock your home/ house door at night before sleep?

Not much need. The main entrance is self locking and my dogs provide a serious deterrent to intrusion.
Our community is gated, so only “the locals“ have access to our roads, but being on waterfront exposes us to (what we jokingly call) “pirates”.
Once or twice a summer, there will be a case of a wayward pirate being shot off of someone’s pier.

I only hope and pray that Trump's wall is so successful that we extend it up the Cali coast for your protection.

    I live in Florida.

A big wall didn’t work for the Chinese 1500 years ago, I see precious little to gain in another wall here.
It would ruin my sunsets, for one...

    (self-locking)

[Here we go again, folks.  Sit back and wait for the fireworks.]

    …. the thing is.

    I don't wear a seatbelt either.

I just don't think that I am going to die that way.   I don't think someone is coming to break into my house.

I DO THINK THAT I COULD BURN THE HOUSE DOWN.

That is what I have to check for.

I'm still haunted by what I did last week.

I fell asleep and woke up to an electric burner being on all night.  I leave crap on my stove a lot like it is counter space.  THANK GOD nothing burned.  THANK GODDDDDDDDDDD

Sharonna, you really should wear the seatbelt each and every time you get in a car.  We love you and care about you far too much, we don't want anything bad to happen to you!

I went to Sedona one late night and was sideswiped by a truck. I did not have my seatbelt on.  I rolled off a low cliff and went head over wheels at least one full rotation and did not receive a scratch.

I do not know if I would have fared as well with the seatbelt on.

Of course this is an insipid reply as to why I do this.  I just cannot imagine any harm being done by my choice to anyone but me or I would wear it.

Why were you in Sedona?  It's not on my list of approved locations, and I darn well know you didn't ask my permission.  Grrrrrrr.

It was so long ago, I couldn't tell you.  But I saw a flying saucer that night.  Right before the car accident.  I mean what a night.

    Good Video...
Yep, lock front and rear with a deadbolt.
Front door to keep the Zombies out.
Rear door to keep the Raccoons out.

    Never.
We live far out in a rural environment,
close to millions of hectare of wilderness,
in a place hidden from view by the topography.
    For anyone to find us
they need detailed instructions. This post was edited by inky at February 25, 2019 6:55 AM MST
