Are there any other members here who are not from a site called AB? Or am I the only outsider here? :/

It was quite a shock when one day it just went off line....I use to regard so many I would chat with as good friends...
I often wonder if we would have got on if we ever met......still miss so many of them as well....:( 

We were lucky on first site I was on, got over a months notice it was closing down.

I still don't know why it closed....I don't understand the new AB....I've not visited ut in ages....:(

I think all the major Q&A site’s closed around the same time. I remember hearing it had something do with goggle search results or something. Not sure though. Ask.com was huge, can’t believe wasn’t making money.

Maybe not as much as they wanted ,so just couldn't be bothered...:(

It was a shock to everyone NJ.  I don't think they saw it as anything but a revenue producer .. or maybe data for their experiments.  Once all of that was no longer to their benefit .. they just shut it down.  They had no idea all the personal connections so many people had to that site.  

I did like AB and how it worked........I think I was 19 or 20 when I first joined and hadn't a clue what to do.....
If I recall rightly it could have been Rosie Jetpacker who first answered me......lol. For some strange reason ,she still does....lol

I did got banned multiple times but i was always coming back with new accounts. then one day i posted a bad picture ( i guess it was hairy butt ), and i got banned again. The thing is theres people on here who post nude pics of them and it works, but me i post a picture of an hairy butt and i get ban.

That is a lie, sweetheart. I have posted nude pictures that are so tame and they get taken off on here immediately.

I believe he means on similar worlds. But yes, anything posted like that here is coming down.

Huh, a lot of the people from ask.com moved over to blurtit after it closed. I was active there for about a year. Maybe not at same time as you cos I don’t remember you from there. 

I was there in 2010. But not very active. 

Oh that explains it. I was only there in 2015 i think. The years are getting blurry lol.

Nope, I had never heard of that site until I came here. At that point I believe it had been shut down a few years.
