What is your "ritual" for when you've had a particularly stressful day?

    Because I just try to take things as they come and work at my own comfort level I don't have stressful days.

    At this point in my life my days are relatively stress free. Most days I work out of my house and I do a fair amount of relaxing and take plenty of breaks throughout the day. It is on those days when I have to leave the house and visit a job site when I find I get the most stressed, dealing with traffic in the city always gets me, it is the drive back home that relieves all the stress of the day. Once I get off the freeway and wind my way through the redwoods I feel it all just melt away so by the time I get home the stress is gone.

    Come home, grab food, turn on TV and veg.

    at the same time, come on here.  So I watch TV and do this.  At the same time.

    I'm about to turn on TV and youtube and watch CNN, MSNBC, MTP (meet the press) and all the channels that contain REAL NEWS, ABC, CBS, etc., and I stay away from the one lying channel, FOX.

    Then I funnel my stress into the news.

    Mug of kratom tea (a mild opioid as a mood enhancer and eliminates bone/muscle pain) then a mug of hot ginger tea -a tonic while doing a bit of AMing.

  • Come home ... make a nice dinner and relax.  Maybe watch a great movie or go for a walk.

    I go to the gym for a strenuous workout to burn off all the stress. Just kidding. I lie on the couch with a bag of Cheetohs and watch YouTube.
