We have quite a few people at the hospital who go on lunch walks.

OH she's at work?  That would make sense then.  But she sure has a lot of time on her hands if she is at work.  HEEE HEEE This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at April 24, 2019 12:18 PM MDT

New York Times, Jan 21, 2015, reported on a study led by professor of exercise science at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, Cecilie Thogersen-Ntoumani - later published in the Scandinavian Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports.

The study study found "that even gentle lunchtime strolls can perceptibly — and immediately — buoy people’s moods and ability to handle stress at work.

As a pleasant, additional outcome, all of the volunteers showed gains in their aerobic fitness and other measures of health at the completion of their 10 weeks of walking."

Of course, it  might be just another way to escape the office bullies, gossips, politics and the sexual harassment from some males who have no social nous.

I walked two miles everyday during the middle of the day for years.  Our building was outside the city with a large lake and a track around the lake.
